HeartKids Auxiliary Tin Collection

Please help HeartKids Auxiliary raise money for the Good Friday Appeal

The Royal Children’s Hospital Auxiliary have agreed to assist us in raising funds for our auxiliary account at the hospital by giving our members Good Friday Appeal collection tins with all funds going to the HeartKids Auxiliary account.

The tins will have the Good Friday Appeal sticker on them and will be numbered. The tins are available for any member, their family or friends who would like to place a tin in their place of business eg. small business reception, counter, kindergarten office, school office etc. Although the tins will be marked Good Friday Appeal, all the funds in these specifically numbered tins will go directly to the HeartKids Auxiliary account where the funds are spent in the cardiac ward at the hospital.

The tins can be distributed immediately yet MUST be returned before Good Friday.

The tins MUST NOT be used for door knocking, corner streets etc and MUST only be used in a place of business as the Good Friday Appeal Tins used on street corners and door knocking etc are distributed by the Good Friday Appeal Committee and are numbered differently. People requiring tins from them must register with them before being sent a tin.

The RCH Auxiliary will manage the whole project from beginning to end with all funds once counted before the Good Friday Appeal, deposited into the HeartKids Auxiliary account with members being advised of the amount raised.

If you are interested in obtaining a tin, please fill out the Expression of Interest Form and return to HeartKids either by fax or mail and we will pass on to the RCH Auxiliary office who will send the tin to you. Once your tin is full, you will need to contact the Auxiliary office so they can organise another tin to be distributed to you.

All tins MUST be returned to the Auxiliary office before Good Friday next year.

Ritchies Stores Community Benefit Card

Ritchies Supermarkets have a Community Benefit card available for patrons. When applying for your card in a Ritchies store, you can nominate HeartKids Victoria as your beneficiary. Every time you shop at Ritchies present your card or tag to the cashier. Each time the card is scanned 1% of the money you spend is automatically allocated to HeartKids as a donation from Ritchies.
