Branch network/coffee mornings
To enable families to offer support to each other in their local community, HeartKids Victoria has established a number of branches within Victoria and Tasmania. Some branches co-ordinate coffee mornings to encourage families to meet.
Livewire
KEEPING YOUNG PEOPLE WITH A SERIOUS ILLNESS, CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITION OR DISABILITY CONNECTED
Livewire Members (members.livewire.org.au) is a free, safe and fun online community for young people, aged over 10 and under 21, living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability.
Livewire is an initiative of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, developed to provide a safe and supportive online space where young people can hang out, connect, share experiences, creatively express themselves and know that they are not alone.

Run for the Kids 14 March 2010
The Herald Sun/City Link Run for the Kids is being held on Sunday 14 March 2010. We would like HeartKids to have a large presence at this wonderful event which raises funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Christmas party 2009
Families celebrated Christmas together at Melbourne Zoo on Saturday 28th November 2009 and had a great day out.
Childrens Magic Show 25 October 2009
HeartKid members enjoyed a day out to the Children’s Magic show which was coordinated by Melbourne Markets Lions Club and sponsored by local businesses.
Myuna Farm Day - November 2009

Box Hill Train Day - Saturday 24th October 2009
Thanks to The Kiwanis Club of Whitehorse and to the Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway Society, HeartKid families were treated to a fun day out on Saturday 24th October 2009.
Candlebark Farm family camp - Friday 18th September - Sunday 20th September 2009
HeartKid families were treated to a very enjoyable weekend at Candlebark Farm, Healesville when they attended a family camp on the weekend of Friday 18th September to Sunday 20th September 2009.

Deniliquin camp : 12th March - 14th March 2010
HeartKid families will soon be invited to have a relaxing time away at Four Post Camp, Deniliquin courtesy of the Kiwanis Club of Deniliquin on the weekend of 12th March to 14th March 2010.
