Box Hill Miniature Train Day - 11th October 2008
Our day began with a tasty sausage sizzle, cooked by the expert barbecue chefs from Kiwanis. With the weather so beautiful, we were able to spend time having lunch in the adjacent park while children took glee in playing on the playground. After lunch, our families enjoyed riding the trains. This year, we had a large number of families interested in coming along, so the families were able to have a ride on the train and go back to the playground in between rides. Smiles were plenty as the children spent an excited couple of hours getting on and off the train and waiting eagerly for their next turn. Thank you once again to Kiwanis Club of Whitehorse and to the staff of Box Hill Miniature Steam Society. We look forward to another day out next year!
